The SparkFun BOB-07841 is a breakout board with internal oscillator and EEPROM, the FT232RL is an impressive intergrated circuit board for FTDI's popular USB to FIFO IC.

This FIFO IC gives the user 8 I/O pins for parallel reading and writing.

Board comes assembled with IC as shown.
