Product Description
The PH0371B EISCO Linear Expansion Apparatus is an easy-to-use device that measures the linear expansion of solids.
Specifications:
Consists of a metal rod enclosed in a well-lagged, nickel-plated tube with three tubules for steam inlet, steam outlet and thermometer.
Metal rod to be investigated is supported in the steam jacket by detachable rubber bungs at each end of tube.
Apparatus is carried on heavy-gauge channel base with an adjusting screw at one end.
At the opposite end is a dial gauge reading to 0.01mm for measuring expansion.
Dimensions:
Metal rod, 3.9L x 0.2 in. dia. (500 x 4.5mm)
