The PWV1 Savonius Windmill Kit Classic is the original fully functioning Savonius wind turbine kit designed by PicoTurbine International.

Standing 8 inches tall, it produces between 1.7-2.5 volts, enough to light up a bicolor LED (included) that flashes red and green to show the alternating current produced. The kit can be easily built in less than one hour, less time if used as a group project. Children as young as 10 years old can build the project with some adult supervision.
