AM Transmitter Kit With Case

Run your own AM radio station, be the latest talk-show host or top 40 DJ. This radio transmitter operates in the standard AM broadcast band and is easily tunable to any clear channel in your area. The AM-1 is designed very similar to actual commercial radio transmitters, so you'll learn how the "big boys" ope- rate and use their transmitters. Transmitter power is 100 milli-watts so no FCC license is required, expected range is up to ¼ mile de pending upon antenna and conditions. The AM-1 accepts standard line-level inputs from tape decks, CD players or mike mixers, and runs on 12 volts DC.
