That is is why the kit runs on water. Hydrogen is first produced externally and then fuelled into the car's on board storage tank. The refueling station is then disconnected from the car, and the car can run on its own hydrogen fuel cell system on board. The fuel is produced from water using energy from the sun (solar panel included). If the sunlight is not available there is an optional battery pack to insert 2 "AA" batteries to substitute for the lack of sunlight.
