The Parallax BS2E-IC Basic Stamp 2E Module uses the Ubicom SX microcontroller, the BS2E-IC runs at the same speed as BASIC Stamp 2 module, but has additional RAM and EEPROM.

 

This product is rated for the Industrial Temperature Range beginning with module Rev E. The Industrial Temperature Range is an operating temperature of    -40°C to +85°C (-40°F-+185°F).

The BS2e module has the same processing and program execution speed as the BASIC Stamp^® 2 module (#BS2-IC) but includes two key features which makes it stand apart. The advantages of the BS2E-IC are as follows: 

• 64 bytes of Scratch Pad RAM
• More EEPROM space than the BS2-IC
  (8x2K Bytes at ~4,000 instructions)

The BS2E-IC, powered by the Ubicom SX microcontroller, is ideal for those that have previous experience with the BS2 and would like more variable or program space.
