For commercial free music. Ever wonder how restaurants and hotels get their continuous commercial-free background music? Believe it or not, they get it off the local FM radio station, but with a special decoder. Now you can build your own decoder and tap into the wealth of programming available to those "in the know". Programming available runs the gamut from stock quotes to rock music to easy listening to all news. These services are "hidden" in subcar riers riding along with the standard FM radio station's usual programming. The decoder connects to the detector output on an FM receiver; if your receiver does not have such an output, consider our FR-1 unit.
